Commodore Janaka Gunaseela, Dean Faculty of Computing was elected as an executive counsil member of the Computer Society Sri Lanka (CSSL). He was appointed as the Secretary – Publications of CSSL.

It is the first time a member of the Faculty of Computing, KDU has been bestowed with a executive council membership in the CSSL.
