Sanara Premaratne from Intake 34, Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computing, took part in Nagaoka University of Technology Summer School for Young Engineers (NASSYE) 2019 which was held from August 19th to 30th in Nagaoka, Japan.

This Summer Camp is primarily for third-year undergraduates from overseas universities. It allows them to participate in research on topics set by the laboratories at Nagaoka University of Technology and experienced cultural exchange. During her time of stay, she was a part of the Department of Information and Management Systems Engineering and was working under the supervision of Professor Takashi Yukawa.

She was the only Sri Lankan student who participated in this exchange program.
