A memorable event unfolded at the Faculty of Computing (FOC) when a distinguished Prof., Yuta Nishiyama, from the Department of Information and Management Systems Engineering, Nagaoka University, Japan, visited FOC- KDU to discuss the ongoing research at the Faculty. Professor Yuta met with the Dean FOC, Dr. ADAI Gunasekara, the HOD-CS, Dr. LP Kalansooriya, and the lecturers from the Department of CS and IT.

The visit allowed FOC staff to exchange insights and novel perspectives to enrich the ongoing research further. It was a brainstorming session to propel the research in new directions. To commemorate the visit and express gratitude, the Dean FOC presented a symbolic gift to Prof. Yuta Nishiyama.
