The recent Java Zero to Hero Workshop organized by the Faculty of Computing, Department of Information Technology at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University Southern Campus held on 25^th and 26^th of August 2023, marked a transformative experience for the computing undergraduates in attendance. The workshop kicked off with the expertise Mr. Maneesha Nirman (Senior Software Engineer) , Mr. Supun Ekanayake (Associate Software Engineer), Mr. Gagana Abeyrathna (Associate Software Engineer) at Virtusa Pvt.Ltd who were warmly welcomed to lead the session, providing an insightful introduction to Java programming, Spring and Postman software. The event continued with a series of engaging practical exercises that encouraged active participation and interaction with an eager audience.

As the session progressed, it reached an exciting juncture with the introduction of a lively quiz. Participants eagerly vied for the spotlight as they answered questions, and those who answered correctly were rewarded with Udemy coupons for Basics of Java Programming Language.
