Step into Industry 3.0, the third successful edition of the award-winning career guidance series, empowered 100+ undergraduates by bridging the gap between academia and industry. Organized by the IEEE Student Branch of KDU, the event featured 10 insightful sessions led by industry experts, offering practical knowledge on job roles, industry trends, and essential career skills. A standout main session focused on soft skills training and featured a keynote address by Ms. Bernadine Jayasinghe, Marketing Director of the Institute of Essential Studies.

Held on 24th February 2025 at FGS Premises, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Ratmalana, the one-day career guidance event brought together top professionals from diverse fields. The sessions were thoughtfully structured based on student survey responses, ensuring they aligned with attendees’ career aspirations. Participants gained exclusive industry insights, valuable networking opportunities, and exposure to the latest technologies. Sustainability remained a key focus, with carefully selected tokens of appreciation: eco-friendly plant pots embedded with QR codes, allowing speakers to access event photos digitally.
