Department of Information Technology in collaboration with CSSL Gen Z Chapter and IEEE WIE Student Branch of KDU conducted an awareness session on UN SDGs titled “ Awake for Impact: Awareness session on UN SDGs”. The Keynote speaker for this session was Professor Bingunath Ingirige, Professor of Urban Resilience and Adaptation at, the University of Salford, the United Kingdom. The workshop covered the area of capacity building on the implementation of the UN SDGs to solve national and global challenges faced by nature and society.  

This session was held in line with the upcoming competition titled “IdeaLab” where undergraduates of the Faculty of Computing, Faculty of Built Environment and Spatial Sciences and Faculty of Technology will interact together to propose innovative, sustainability-driven value-added solution/s for a compelling national or global challenge.
