Code with WIE -Let’s Rise Together was organized by the IEEE WIE Sri Lanka Section Affinity Group in collaboration with IEEE HAC & SIGHT. One of the aims of the competition was to encourage University students to develop products that solve the critical problems arising due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The final competition of the “Code with WIE- Let’s Rise Together” was held on 28th June 2020 and the 1st place was won by the Team Stealth. The Team Stealth represented by Intake 34 students from the Faculty of Computing, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University.

Team members were:

• Randi Wakkumbura (Computer Engineering Undergraduate Student)
• Lasitha Atapattu (Software Engineering Undergraduate Student)
• Sanara Premaratne (Software Engineering Undergraduate Student)

The winners will receive a financial aid from IEEE HAC & SIGHT to continue their work for the benefit of their communities.
