Marking yet another quintessential professional milestone, the CSSL GenZ Chapter of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University successfully conducted an Awareness Session on the 30th of July 2021 via Zoom.

The highlights of the event were the participation and the addressing the group by Mr Damith Hettihewa (President CSSL, Managing Director Nimbus Cloud Lanka Ltd) and Mr Heminda Jayaweera (Student Counsellor CSSL, Chief Operations Officer SLINTEC) which turned out to be much zealous and sensitized the attendees on the CSSL GenZ.

The Chapter patron, Dr Nirosha Wedasinghe addressed the gathering and encouraged young GenZ members to collaborate and do joint projects with other GenZ forums at national and international levels.

The pioneer of the establishment of the CSSL GenZ Chapter of the Kotelawala Defence University, Commodore Janaka Gunaseela (Former Dean – Faculty of Computing, KDU) was also present at the Awareness session.

Tokens of appreciation were presented to Mr Damith Hettihewa, Mr Heminda Jayaweera, and Commodore Janaka Gunaseela for their utmost dedication and commendable commitment in establishing the GenZ chapter.
