The Department-Industry Consultative Board (DICB) of Department of Computational Mathematics, Faculty of Computing was conducted on 17th of July 2024 at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. This aimed to evaluate the curriculum of Data Science and Business Analytics degree offered by the department. Dr. Predeep Kalansooriya, the Dean Faculty of Computing, Dr. (Mrs.) Dushyanthi Vidanagama the Head of Department of Computational Mathematics, other Heads of  the Departments in Faculty of Computing, HOD – Management and Finance, HOD – Languages, academic staff members along with a wide range of eminent senior academia from various universities, namely Prof. Vasana Chandrasekara – University of Kelaniya, Dr. Chithraka Wickramaarchchi – University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Dr. (Mrs) ATP Silva – University of Moratuwa, Dr. P.G.T. Harshani -University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and industry experts namely Mr. Hansa Perera and Mr. Gihan Liyanage mediated a fruitful discussion by contributing expertise views to revise the programme structure, and to take measures to improve the professional conduct of the degree programme for future intakes.
