The Department-Industry Consultative Board (DICB) of the Department of Information Technology of the Faculty of Computing was conducted on the 23^rd of November 2022 at the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Sothern Campus from 0930hrs onwards.

The motive of this meeting was primarily to evaluate the curriculum of the Information Technology and Information Systems Degree offered by the department and to if they are in line with the current industry best practices and standards.

Dr Asela Gunasekara, the Dean Faculty of Computing, Major RMM Pradeep, the Head of the Department of Information Technology, all academic staff members of the department of Information Technology, along with a wide range of eminent industry experts mediated a fruitful discussion by contributing expertise comments and views.

The opinions obtained will be used to revise the module contents and elective subjects and to take measures to improve the professional conduct of the degree program for future intakes.
