The Department of Information Technology organised an IoT workshop and exhibition titled “EXCITE TECH”. The keynote speakers for the workshop were Eng. Praveen Weerasinghe, NERD Centre, Sri Lanka, and Prof.Attaphongse Taparugssanagorn, Asia Institute of Technology, Thailand. The workshop covered the areas of “Introduction to Printed Circuit Design for IoT Applications and “Empowering Tomorrow: Navigating the Landscape of IoT.”.

The IoT exhibition was a remarkable display of creativity and ingenuity, with participants demonstrating their outstanding skills in designing and implementing cutting-edge IoT solutions. From smart homes to industrial automation, the exhibits covered a wide range of applications, highlighting the immense potential of IoT technology in transforming our daily lives. The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the announcement of the winning team. After days of intense competition, the ultimate champions of the IoT exhibition were revealed, receiving well-deserved praise and recognition.
