Faculty of Computing, Delegates visit the Faculty of Computer Science, Dresden University of Technology, Germany

Members attached to the Faculty of Computing met officials of the Faculty of Computer Science, D (TUD), Germany, during their official visit to TUD. The Dresden University of Technology is a public research university, the largest institute of higher education in the city of Dresden, the largest university in Saxony and one of the ten largest universities in Germany. The Faculty of Computer Science comprises six institutes with twenty-five professors and around 280 members of scientific and administrative staff, covering the whole spectrum of computer science, from theory to practice, from fundamental research to its application in various domains.

The objectives of the visit were to explore the possibilities for mutually beneficial collaboration and the possibility of providing training to KDU students at TUD, especially for undergraduate and post-graduate studies, including research collaborations.

At the outset of the visit, the representatives of each university presented overviews of the administrative and academic environment of their respective universities, and after that, the discussions were focused on the student exchange programmes in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
