Faculty of Computing Preconference workshop – IRC 2021

The Preconference Workshop of the Faculty of Computing incorporated with the 14th International Research Conference of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University was held on the 08th of September 2021 from 05.00 PM onwards and the theme was “Staying Fit to Fight: Business Analysis in The Changing World.” This event was organized by the Faculty of Computing in collaboration with the British Computer Society (BCS), Sri Lankan section.

This session was conducted on an online platform with the keynote address done by a former Royal Airforce Officer, Squadron Leader Bill Aitken who spoke mainly about the role of a Business Analyst working in current conditions.

The welcome address and introduction of the keynote speaker were made by Dr Asela Gunasekera Dean Faculty of Computing and Dr Wijendra Gunathilake, the In-charge of the BCS student Chapter, delivered the vote of thanks.

Dr Pradeep Kalansooriya, the Chief organizer of the Preconference workshop and all FOC staff along with more than two hundred participants participated in the event.
