The University of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University’s Inter faculty netball tournament 2023 was a fierce competition between the faculties of the university. The tournament brought out the best in each of the teams and the competition was intense.

At the end of the tournament, the second runners up were the Faculty of Computing. This was a remarkable achievement by the faculty as they were able to overcome the odds and make it to the top 3.

The players of the faculty of Computing team worked hard and put in a lot of effort to reach the second runners up position as the departments of the faculty are situated in different locations so the players could not practice together. The team had an excellent coordination even though they could not practice together as one team before starting the tournament due to the practical issue of switching between Rathmalana and Sooriyawewa. Regardless of these things their strategies were well thought out and effective. It was a great achievement for the faculty.
