The annual cricket tournament organized by the Department of IT, Faculty of Computing of the Southern Campus of KDU was held at the campus grounds on 6^th of February 2020. The tournament was organized by the undergraduates of Intake 35 belonging to the Department of IT. More than eleven teams participated in the tournament. Two exhibition matches were also held between academic staff and military staff teams.

The winner of the SPL 2020 was the team representing the undergraduates of Intake 35 who belong to Department of IT, Faculty of Computing. The Rector Southern Campus, Maj. Gen. Adeepa Thilakarathna was the chief guest of this event.
