CSSL GenZ Student Chapter of KDU held an event for G.C.E Advanced Level Students on September 16, 2021, intending to expand their knowledge of the ICT subject as well as the ICT industry. The webinar was conducted by two lecturers of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Dean- Faculty of Computing, Dr Asela Gunasekara and Senior Lecturer – Dr Nirosha Wedasinghe via Zoom.

Furthermore, the event was held successfully with the participation of schooling students representing several schools all over the country. According to the feedback received from the participants, the event was highly beneficial to them, and they were able to clear up any doubts they had regarding the ICT industry. CSSL GenZ Chapter has organized a follow-up quiz and it was evident the high enthusiasm of the students at the event. At the end of the session, Mr Vimuth Chathumina Kumara Kariywasm from Walisinghe Harischandra College Anuradhapura became the winner, and he won a 32 GB pen drive as the winning prize. Apart from students, there were many school IT teachers who participated in the event.
