Thirty sailors visited the Southern Campus on the 17th of September 2019 during their annual educational tour. They were given a brief workshop on PHP (Server Scrpting Language) by Mr Shashika Bandara in the newly opened computer laboratory.

After the workshop, the Officer in Charge of the Navy Officer, Lieutenant Commander GLHK de Silva thanked the staff and the Faculty of Computing for their hospitality and knowledge sharing.
